Vendor Presentations

Gather an understanding of all the new technology.

Our Vendor Partners Help Educate Attendees

Part of the conference mandate is to educate our attendees. We ask our Vendor Partners to help us with that goal by providing an understanding of their products so our attendees can make the best purchasing choices for their specific applications. During the trade show day there will be 20 twenty minute presentations by 10 of our Vendor Partners. Vendor presentation topics will include broadcast/storage servers, editing systems, lighting equipment, video switchers, web streaming technology, studio equipment, and others. Participating vendors will conduct their presentations at the booths on the trade show floor. Each of these booths will have seating available. They are scheduled from 10:00-11:30am and will be repeated from 1:45-3:15pm. This is an opportunity to increase your knowledge of the products offered and spend time talking one on one with vendors. Details about the presentations and their schedule will be posted here as they are finalized. Visit the trade show floor map for the presentation locations.

Varto Technologies

Varto TechnologiesTriCaster & LiveU: Varto Technologies specializes in providing industry leading solutions that will fit your budget. We will be showing the latest in the new technology and workflows that are available today. This includes the NewTek TriCaster. Whether video is your job, your passion, your entire business, or your chosen communication method, with TriCaster—the most complete multi-camera production system on the planet—you can make anything from keynote presentations and webcasts to online training and sports events look just like network television. Also featuring LiveU’s family of products. With LiveU’s 3G/4G bonded uplink products, more options are available for live news and event coverage.

NewTek NDI: NewTek launched Network Device Interface (NDI™), an enabling technology for live production IP workflows over Ethernet networks. NDI allows multiple video systems to identify and communicate with one another over IP, and to encode, transmit and receive many streams of high quality, low latency, frame-accurate video and audio in real time. This benefits any network-connected video device, including video mixers, graphics systems, capture cards, and many other production devices. This makes it possible to exponentially increase the number of sources available for live production switching, without directly attaching to devices, changing locations, or investing in expensive, high-bandwidth networks that simply replace SDI-based workflows.

Virtual Sets & Chroma Keying: Virtual Sets are one of the best ways to make use of a small space and place your talent in a network style studio at a low cost. Take your studio or stage environment to entirely new levels of augmented reality with realistic 3D virtual sets or panoramic vistas from photos taken in any location. Also, see how easy chroma-keying can be with the Reflecmedia LiteRing and Chromatte Fabric. This incredible technology will get you a clean key within minutes, no lighting expert needed!

A few weeks ago at NAB, Tightrope won a rare ACE Best Exhibit award for having an “Awesome, Creative, Exhibit” (out of 1806 booths at NAB, only 4 ACE awards were given). Our 30×30 NAB booth included a 12-panel video wall running a custom TRMS-created animation, and also featured Carousel demonstrations on interactive displays and a live demonstration of new Cablecast software features. Because the video wall is still recovering from it’s Vegas hangover, Tightrope’s newly-christened “Community Media Evangelist”, Daniell Krawczyk, will attempt to conjure the same amount of energy and excitement while showing new Cablecast features on a single television. Daniell will madly wave his hands around while showing the new Cablecast Video-on-Demand improvements including Galleries, Metrics, and SEO, and his voice will swell while he shows the completely rebuilt Carousel 7 interface. If it’s not possible for one man to be as animated as a 12-screen video wall, Daniell will at least give it a go.

RushworksRushworks will demonstrate how to embrace architecture to cover virtually all your operational requirements. The mission of the company is clear: provide multi-camera production and playback solutions that can be managed by a single operator … both in the studio and on location.

You’ll learn how to maximize your production value by effective use of PTZ cameras … and the company’s PTX Universal PanTilt heads. Introducing motion into camera shots is the key, and RUSHWORKS’ innovative Dynamic Auto Zoom, Motion Presets, and integration of the newest product, NEWSDOLLY, combine to greatly enhance your productions while dramatically reducing the need for human resources.
The company’s LOCKED ON Robotic Camera and Light Tracking System is just another tool in the arsenal of ‘self-producing’ production tools. Learn how to take advantage of the three unique User Interfaces in VDESK (and the portable configuration, REMO) to best suit your different production scenarios. Use the TALK-TAKE function to automatically switch PTZ cameras based on active microphone status, again eliminating the need for camera operators during meeting production.

Take advantage of the NDI input and output capability in VDESK/REMO, as well as the ability to use streaming content as one of the (up to) 12 inputs on the VDESK. Location production is a snap, using current technology for IP point-to-point communications back to your station for live events. This promises to be an eye-opening experience as to what you can actually accomplish with cool technology from RUSHWORKS
